The downtown is worth a stop after visiting the historical site nearby.

The town of Andersonville has the potential to be an awesome attraction, but the town is falling apart, what is left of it is not taken care of, and the people were very inhospitable and rude. The historic sure and the cemetery are amazing but the town isn't worth driving through.

Very lovely!

A small scale model of the Andersonville prison is on display here.

No one was around when we visited the towns welcome cemter. The town is not worth visiting but the Andersonville Civil War Park was great.
